Le Soleil Brunch brought to you by Cîroc
By now, if you know me…you should know that Cîroc is my vodka of choice. I ask it by choice, so when I received the invitation to the most exclusive sought out events in the Mother City, I obliged.
I need to paint this picture for you - it is the most glorious day in Cape Town, the hottest ticket is Le Soleil (which was at capacity before I even boarded my flight days prior) The Bungalow is the haunt for this occasion that brought the who’s who of Mzansi to the yard. Upon arrival you can feel the energy - the kids call it “vibes”, The DJ is playing a classic Frank Sinatra song - over the sickest house beat. EVERYONE - I mean, EVERYONE is beautiful. As I make way to my table; which takes me a good half an hour; as I am greeting friends and familiar faces from my social days - it’s defientely the place to be! At this point I am very glad I accepted the invitation to Cape Town during season.
The tables are long and spreadout - the way I like it - forcing people to interact and get aquatinted. And on said person was Real Housewives of Cape Town cast member; Beverly Styen who pulled up in a Ferrari to the party. I don’t she’s a viewer of my shady and spicy commentary series on #ToolzTalksTV, but you can catch up on it here. Back to the party, our ever so chic host, VIka Shipalana of VS Luxury, dressed for summer in a sexy Dior two piece comlimented with a cute Chanel clutch. Cîroc cocktails, of course; oysters - how many? Crayfish? Coming right up! The cuisine was perfection, and I really need to go back to the resautrant for that specific dish.
Little did my best friend; Lee-Ann Liebenberg know that I would be in town and managed to surprise her! (Thank you Nicky!) we danced on tables, we laughed and brunch was exactly how it was meant to be done. Arrive at noon…leave at sunset. I know I swore I would never do Cape Town in season again - but Le Soleil Brunch with Cîroc - you can count me in for the next one.
