Netflix's "The Politician" Returns

Ryan Murphy doesn’t stop. Literally we just came off the first season of “The Politician” moaning River’s death, like yesterday, and it returns June 19th. That’s incredible.

I was drawn into this cult favourite which had the script of mixture between American Horror Story “Coven”, Scream Queen and Glee. All Murphy’s productions. SPOILER ALERT: The final episode we stepped into the future post high school, Ben Platt’s character, Payton Hobart, moving to New York and abusing alcohol, only to be resurrected by his right hands to fulfil his destiny of being the New York state senator. How far will he go this time? Will he take down his opponent Dede Standish?

This show is poignant right now, hitting all the right notes - gender equality, college admission scandal, polygamy and the political fight in North America. The cast also boasts legends such as Jessica Lange, Bette Midler and Judith Light.
